allride and Rent a Bike launch a strategic partnership for sustainable mobility

allride, the mobility platform of the AMAG Group, and Rent a Bike AG, the specialist for bicycle and e-bike hire, a sister company of the bicycle manufacturer Tour de Suisse Rad AG, are joining forces. This long-term strategic partnership aims to facilitate access to sustainable, individual mobility for companies and site operators throughout Switzerland.

With its allride multimodal mobility solution, the AMAG Group offers corporate customers, site operators and municipalities a flexible all-inclusive service package to provide sustainable two- and four-wheel mobility for their employees and residents. The platform bundles the comprehensive services provided by the AMAG Group and other partners, This creates easy access to sustainable and shared vehicles: electric cars, e-bikes or e-cargo bikes.

E-bike sharing for companies and property developments
Companies and site operators are increasingly recognising that alternative mobility options offer added value for their employees and tenants. “We are seeing increased awareness of this type of mobility. The factors of health promotion, lower CO2 emissions and operating costs or the availability of parking spaces are becoming increasingly relevant," explains Stefan Maissen, Managing Director of Rent a Bike AG.

This strategic partnership will develop convenient multimodal mobility services for companies and residential complexes. In addition to electric cars, Allride provides customers throughout Switzerland with high-quality e-bikes of the "Tour de Suisse" brand from Kreuzlingen, which are provided as part of Rent a Bike's strategic partnership and are checked, maintained and cleaned for a comfortable and safe cycling experience.

More efficiency thanks to a digital solution
Vehicles that are integrated into the allride ecosystem can be booked, opened and closed using the allride app. This convenient digital solution does away with the need for complex booking and key management processes, making access to sustainable e-mobility reliably easier. Customers always have an overview of their fleet and can manage it via the allride portal.

As part of this partnership, Rent A Bike will gradually integrate its own digital solution for its sharing services into the allride app. "With this strong partner behind us, we can make even better use of the advantages of digitalisation and optimally integrate them into our own "Corporate E-Bike Sharing" offering," emphasises Stefan Maissen.

Arjan Vlaskamp, Head of MaaS Platform allride, on the new strategic partnership: "With allride, we want to provide easy access to sustainable, personalised and shared mobility. By partnering with Rent a Bike, we are taking another step towards achieving this goal. Together, we can offer our customers and users the high-quality services we already offer as AMAG Group and develop them further, including in the area of two-wheel mobility.”
